まあ道義的な云々をさておけば、きょうび売り切りモデルで継続的なアップデートの提供なんて土台無理があるし、かといってアプデなしの OS 提供なんて完全オフラインの組み込みでもなければもっと無理があるし、じゃあサブスクで稼ぐしかないというのは理解できる

つまり防御を担当する側の実装が規格通りの正規化で問題ないことを確認して、アプリケーション側が誤った正規化でパストラバーサルを許してしまう可能性があるので、普通にセキュリティリスクだと思う
