I visited Hokkaido region in winter 25 years ago. Great nature, fresh and tasty food, it was special travel.( I didn't visit Toya lake.) If you can get chance, please visit there.

私はTwitterをやめた身だけど、Mastodon上で「鳥国」「Birdsite」といった呼び名を見るたびに、そこから漂う侮蔑や憎悪にぞっとする。

Though I left Twitter, I freeze with words "鳥国" "Birdsite" on Mastodon, because I smell out contempt and hate which are charged in such words.
