この巻に限らないけど、1話1話が哲学や倫理の入門素材として使うと面白そうな感じ。その問題の萌芽は現代社会にも見て取ることができる。AIやロボット工学、バイオテクノロジーがいくら発展しても、けっきょく面倒くさい問題を引き起こすのが人間なんだな、と思う。

本日の書棚から適当に1冊は『マンキュー入門経済学』（N.G.マンキュー著・東洋経済新報社発行）。
経済学の一般的な定番書は何なのか知らないけど、私はこの本を基本書として勉強した（のだけど、だいぶ忘れてしまった）。ミクロ経済学、マクロ経済学のエッセンスをこれ1冊で学べる。マンキュー経済学のエッセンシャル版。多少は経済学を知ってる場合は、章末問題を解いてから本文を読むとよいかもしれない。2008年3月刊。
