@JHB17 @se_davidobrien @Edent There's addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firef and chromewebstore.google.com/deta that automatically detects URLs in query strings and redirect to them (though you may encounter minor issues due to overdetection, which you can add exceptions against).

@Gersonzao @darkphoenix @digitalRightsNinja Metadata in messages remain the same: only text, attachments and mentions are encrypted, the rest is unencrypted (though there are MSCs being proposed for encrypting reactions and message relations, iirc). Regarding other metadata shared with identity servers, its usage was made opt-in (ie. not default) somewhen in 2021, and now it's practically obsolete.
