Back in late March, I ran into an acquaintance of mine (who is in a different program, so we don't talk much beyond nods) in the library. Upon inquiry, it appears that he got dumped and was distraught. So I dragged him out for higher-end (read: expensive) coffee. I had iced latte, he had machiato. He confided to me, which I appreciated. I comforted him a bit, and then we talked about other things in life. It felt nice.

@freakazoid I'm not against space exploration, just that the essay fails to show how it is "necessary." Still, a lot of things aren't "necessary," including foreign military aid.
