マストドンの引用ブースト機能は公式にはないけど、げんちゃんが作ってwakinさんが改良・発展させた独自機能のものがあって、びわ湖丼の他、 #fedibird などいくつかのインスタンスが採用しているよ。

Misskeyの引用リノートとの違いとして、Misskeyは通知するけど、Mastodonのものは通知しないようになっているんだ。
Fedibirdの引用ブーストは、ある程度はMisskeyと互換性があるんだけど、Misskeyのユーザーには通知がいくけど、Mastodonのユーザーには通知が行かないという予想しにくい挙動になるので注意してね。

@kPherox Pleroma勢が、勝手にフォロー先をMoveさせられるのは意に反する、どう対応するか自分で選択させろ、と言っていた流れのアレですよね。
