@pomcan 以前できていたというのは恐らく錯覚です。
絵文字のショートコード :code: と :code: の間には空白が必要ですが、ここをゼロ幅スペースにすることで、つながっているように見せることができます。
@taiyo 設計時に許可・拒否範囲を検討したのですが、そっくり公開範囲と同じになってしまうので、意味がないという結論となりました。
Fedibirdの購読は、フォローしている人の投稿や連合タイムラインに流れる投稿から、必要なものだけを残す、フィルター機能の一種です。
サーバーで実装されていますが、クライアントで実装しても同じになる範囲に制限しています。

@pomcan くっついて表示されているものをコピー＆ペーストすると、くっついたままの絵文字がコピーできます。
これは、絵文字の間にゼロ幅のスペースが入っています。ゼロ幅なので、目視できません。
上がくっついているもの、下がはなれている（通常）ものです。
