ほんととんでもねえ曲だと思う。
「なんでおじさんってオネスティをカラオケで歌うの？」って昨日言われたんだけど、結構これ、根の深い問題なんじゃないか。
というのも、ビリージョエルには「あの娘にアタック」とか「アップタウンガール」みたいな「下心丸出して当たってけー」っていう歌が結構あるのに、そっちじゃなくてなぜオネスティなのか？という。
オネスティの歌詞、すごいからね。「かわいい顔して言うかわいい嘘なんていらない」「誠実さ君から望むのはそれだけ」みたいな。なんか聞こえはいいけれど、すごく「勘違い」感高い歌詞なわけですよ。何上から目線で「欲しいのは誠実さ」とか「かわいくなくていい」とか言ってるのかっていう。
ビリージョエルが歌えば説得力があるが、お前が歌っても......っていう。
最近この「日本の男性」の、「口説いてるようでいてちっとも口説いてない」「なぜか上からなぜか自分が選ぶ側」「何かあったら女のせい」「すぐ"じゃあそれで”とかいいそう」な感じがめちゃくちゃ気持ち悪くなってる。
