@bombstardast ハッシュタグのついた投稿を一覧表示する機能は、検索には含まれません。
公開範囲（visibility）が公開（public）のハッシュタグ付き投稿は、常にハッシュタグによって一覧表示されます。
ハッシュタグつきの投稿の中から全文検索によって絞り込む場合は、検索許可設定の影響を受けます。
@bcw 自分の投稿をカテゴリー分けしておきたい場合は、ハッシュタグがよいかと思います。
通常、ハッシュタグは『公開』の投稿でしか有効になりませんが、『未収載』でも自分の投稿を分類するためには機能します。
『注目のハッシュタグ』という機能を使って、アカウントのカラムに（ブログのような）カテゴリーを表示することができます。
また、単に自分だけがみられれば良い記録であれば『自分限定』という公開範囲で投稿することで、自分だけみられる投稿が可能です。

@elliebee42 中黒は次のバージョンあたりで使えるようになりますが、しばらくは互換性がないので利用には注意が必要です。

@suzuken これは、安全とプライバシーという設定画面で、フォロー解除などを禁止した状態ですね。発生するエラーも、403という許可されていないという内容になっているかと思います。
@morisima 対応アプリまだとても少ないですが、IceCubeなど限られたアプリでFedibirdと同様の表示をサポートしているものもありますね。
