結局私の場合はアルファベットまじりの文を書くことがかなり多いので半角括弧の方が深さとか英文中での食い合わせの点で都合が良く、であれば文全体での括弧も統一しようということで、日本語オンリーの文でも一貫して半角括弧を使うようにしている。

1. 行が長いので表示上の改行を入れる必要がある。
2. 雑に検知すると、日本語文はひとつの単語を構成する一連の文字に見える。
→ 文字種 (平仮名、片仮名、漢字、etc) や句読点で切る手もあるが、そこまでやってくれる実装はあまり見ない。
3. 日本語と英語を空白で切らない場合、英語フレーズ中の半角空白だけが「積極的に表示上の改行を入れられる場所」に見える。
4. 半角空白の位置に表示上の改行が入る。
5. justify (行の両端を揃える) 処理が入る。 (これは文書のスタイル設定次第なので、入らず右端が大いにガタガタになる場合もある。)
→本来は単語間の空白サイズを優先的に調整するものだが、日本語の単語検知はうまくいかず実質1語の状態なので文字間が伸長される
6. このようにして、空白の片側は矢鱈に広がって反対側は密なクソスタイルが発生する
