Mastodonはサーバーごとに公開TLは１つで、サイレンスなどのモデレーションもサーバー単位。
IRCがチャネルを誰でも作れてチャネルごとにOPがいてモデレーションできるのとは対照的。そりゃ1サーバ1コミュニティーになるよね

Mastodonは公開TLを１つだけ持てる。故にサーバーとコミュニティーを分離できない。サーバ運営とコミュニティー運営を分離するには、公開TLをなくすか、複数持てるようにするかのどちらかが必要。これはMastodonの設計上の明確な制約だと思う。

分散SNSなのに1サーバが規模を求めてしまった、という矛盾を抱えているのが大手サーバーの現状。それは決して悪ではないのだけど、個人運営サーバと温度感が異なる。大手サーバーが分散を強調すればするほど、彼らの主張と現状のミスマッチが目立ってややこしくなる。

分散SNSは日本だと企業参入と撤退が相次ぎ、ブランディングが難しい状態だと思う。個人運営サーバの集まりだけでは全体としての集客が困難で、草の根BBSの集合体のようなイメージが大きい

Also many developers and server operators accept donations personally.
I receive about lower than 2k JP-YEN donations a month, for developing app and keep my small instance.
My hobby is developing client app that biased to "cross instance action", not for best app.
I think Fediverse will live longer than IRC, so I want to keep the tools I use.

#Misskey APIのギャップ読み込みの確認してるのは、 STがTLの差分読み込みにsinceDate,untilDateを使ってるのをやめたいというのが大きい。ESの有無によって検索のページングが異なるのは俺がどうにかするべき問題でもないし。

@Sujiyan Nullcull took care of it, but I don't know if the current mstdn.jp residents like such moderation.
However, there are so many bots that show sexual pictures. I guess so moderation will help improve the public mood.
But considering the cost, we cannot feel free to request it. It would be less costly simply to loosen the bot policy.

@Sujiyan In the old days, ぬるかる made it as policy of mstdn.jp to silence bots that post publicly.
However, if you look at the FTL of mstdn.jp now, there are many bots. It is different from what is written at https://mstdn.jp/about/more

IDの表現にkotlinのinline classを検討したことあるけど、あれまだ試験実装（アルファ段階)だしgenerics絡むとboxing,unboxingの扱いがややトリッキーなんだよ。
なので普通のクラスでラップしてる。
Pleromaのせいで大小比較が「長さ比較、次に文字コード比較」になってしまったので何かしらのラッピングしないと面倒でやってられん
