今日は、

1995年08月24日　MicrosoftからOS"Windows 95"がリリースされる。また、別売りの"Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95"に付属する形でNCSA Mosaicをもとに開発されたウェブブラウザ"Internet Explorer 1"が同時にリリースされる。ネットワーク機能の容易化、TCP/IPが選択可能であるなどの機能の充実化によりWorld Wide Webの普及の大きな要因となる。OSの商業的な成功とOSと抱き合せでIEを配布したことなどによりIEのブラウザシェアが伸び、Netscapeとの間でいわゆる「第一次ブラウザ戦争」が勃発する。

2007年08月24日　IRCでの messinaがtwitter上でハッシュタグを発案するツイートを行う。twitter上での最初のハッシュタグとなる。twitterの創業者Biz Stoneはこれをtoo nerdyだと一蹴した。

2011年08月24日　リビアでカダフィの退陣を要求するデモから始まった半年間に及ぶ内戦の結果として首都トリポリが陥落、カダフィ大佐が殺害される。 このリビアでの反政府運動および内戦はアラブの春のうちの一つに数えられる。アラブの春の影響で周辺地域の統治が弛緩、ISILも依拠するイスラム過激派の戦略論が合わさり、ISILにとって都合のいい環境が中東地域に生まれたとする見方がある。

Ivory's upcoming new navigation design is currently available to test on TestFlight!

While the design of the navigation bar has changed over the years, the core concept of how it functioned has been the same since Tweetbot v1.0 way back in 2011! We've redesigned and rebuilt Ivory’s navigation system from the ground up to be faster, easier to use, and more configurable.

This will ship in Ivory v2.2 along with some other great new features!

Completely Redesigned Navigation System Coming Soon to Ivory 2.2 New navigation menu to quickly choose tabs that aren’t visible. Move the compose button to the navigation bar and place more buttons on the bar. Or place less buttons on the bar if less is more. Labels are also now optional. Configure Ivory’s navigation your way.

@GnuPG @adulau @ploum @bortzmeyer I am not against proposing the LibrePGP specification, but emphasizing the *proposed* part of Proposed Standard seems misleading, though. As you know, RFC 4880 is also Proposed Standard, so is RFC 2440. Your sentence sound like 4880 was a genuine standard but 9580 is just a proposal, but actually they are the same in term of the category of RFC.

細かいことをいうとClangでもGCCでもないccも世の中にあるからClangでもGCCでも関係ないならccにするのが正しいかというとそうとも限らない

SUSにはccコマンドないしな（バージョンによるがc89コマンドやc99コマンドなどがある。互換性のためにccがK&R Cのコンパイラになっているシステムでも標準に準拠できるようにそうなっているのだと思う）
