GoogleはPodCastアプリを削除した後にそれが騒ぎになったら撤回したこともあるので、注目次第では撤回もありうるのだけども。Mastodonに注目してる記者やライターは(世界的にも)もうあまりいないので、この件で十分な注目を集めるのは難しいだろうね。
これがiOSだったらストアから排除されたら終わりなのですが、幸いなことにAndroidはPlayストア以外の経路でもアプリのインストールやアップデートが可能です。Playストアから排除された場合でもアプリの提供は続けられます。
