1985年に公開されたpatchコマンドのバージョン1.3から35年間残っていたバグがオリジナルの2.11BSDを復元する作業の過程で見つかったという話。
FreeBSD baseのpatchはつい先ほどこのバグが修正された https://reviews.freebsd.org/D26081
