そもそも日本の JIS 規格のレギュラー／ハイオクと欧州のガソリン規格と米国のガソリン規格がそれぞれ異なる、というのと中でも日本のガソリン規格が求めるオクタン価が低すぎる、というのの合せ技なので、欧米の車でもハイオク一択というわけでもなければたまたまその下限値に近いオクタン価のガソリンでいいやつなら日本のレギュラーでもまあ、となりそう
