石丸氏は、候補者には当選してほしかったと言いつつも、国民の政治参加を促すことが目的なので都議選で候補者を擁立した時点で目的の大部分は果たしていると会見で述べていました。単なる強がりで言っているのなら外野がとやかく言うこともないのですが、もし本気でそう言っているのなら、「当選を目的としない立候補」で問題となっているNHK党のやり方と、本質的にさほど変わらないのではないかと感じます。さらに、当選に執着しない姿勢からは、別の意図も勘ぐってしまいます。再生の道は都議選候補者オーディションをYouTubeでオープンにしてそこそこ再生回数を稼いでいましたし、都議選中の動画の再生回数は再生の道がダントツで多かったようなので、もしかして「再生"回数"の道」だったのか？と疑われかねないようにも思います。
