It is first time to hear about phage therapy, is there any country that approve to use generic-recombinant phage for killing bacterium?

At least in Japan, phage therapy is not approved so we have to use antibiotics.

Doctors sometimes use antibiotics resistant Streptococcus faecalis with antibiotics, to reduce side effects (i.e. diarrhea).
