@adachika192 サリエリにとって不幸なのは、彼自身の作品が今は殆ど演奏されていないという現状があって、その結果として彼の名前が引き合いに出されるときは大抵モーツァルトとセットになってしまうということですね。もうちょっと彼の作品が人口に膾炙する状況になっていたら、果たしてここまでモーツァルトのカウンターパート扱いされなかったのではないかと思います。

こういう作品の愛好者に対して史実をどう伝えていけば良いのかは、「アマデウス」に限らず同種の作品の共通した課題ですね。

@adachika192 それがですね、モーツァルトとサリエリがあんな感じで対立したこと自体は史実としてはかなり疑わしいというのが現在の定説で、元はサリエリに関して世間に流布していたうわさ話をプーシキンが戯曲化したのが広まったんですね。その過程でプーシキンが書いた「モーツァルトとサリエリ」をリムスキー＝コルサコフがオペラ化したことも、噂話がまことしやかに伝えられる一助になりました。

シェーファーの「アマデウス」は人間の「嫉妬」という業をよく描写した作品だとは思いますが、結果的に見ればサリエリに対する噂話を世間に定着させるのに大きく寄与してしまったのも事実で…。
