is 0 a natural number, is 1 prime, what is 0⁰, is a square a rectangle, π vs. τ = 2π, etc.

i think these aren't purely math problems, but a matter of words. none of them can be proven. yet they're helpful for understanding math and history.

i found it difficult to start by researching why does 1+1=2 or what are numbers. pretend you know the “obvious”, like addition, and skip if it's too hard, like division.
