Initially was fun to run it, but after 5yrs it became clear that Mastodon is still a centralized protocol. The instance runner is just a benevolent dictator. I'm not interested in being a dictator and lost interterest. Instances are also blanket banning other instances. This means the whole ActivityPub universe was just a patchy-verse, and able to block Bitcoiners out. But, it's biggest offense is that Users don't own their identity & data. Mastodon is not decentralized, it's just someone else's computer.
