@steve02081504 My Gravatar became an authenticated link with no problem, so I guess it's a timing issue.
When you add/update a link in the Additional Info section of your profile, it takes a bit of time for the Mastodon side to reflect it.
If you give it some time and then retry, I think it should work fine.
