Noto CJKの日本語書体も中華フォントと呼んでいた人々がいたし、字体が同じでも少し違和感がある程度の意味合いで中華フォントと呼ばれることがある。（Notoの場合はAndroidでそれまで主流だったモトヤ系統の書体と比べられていたように思う。）
Notoは多言語組版での調和を重視して各書記系の伝統的な書体デザインとは異なる選択を時折しているので、違和感を抱くことは不思議なことではない。ただ、その違和感を指す言葉として日本語書体であるにも関わらず「中華フォント」が使われたのは、この言葉が単に骨格の異なる字体に限らず（話者の感性において）日本語の表示に不適切な書体を指す言葉に拡大していたことを示していると思う。
「中華」が慇懃無礼な意味合いを帯びて使われることが確かに昔のMMO界隈であった（アカウント売買業者のことを実際に中国人であるかどうかに関係なく中華（業者）と日本人プレイヤー達は呼んでいた）記憶があるし、「中華フォント」が「中文フォント」でないのもその時代の名残が含まれていると思うけれど、その時代を生きていない世代はそうした意識をしていないのも想像できる。
コンピューターにおけるmaster/slaveも、家族から奴隷制が公然かつ苛烈だった時代のことを教えられて育った人々とそうでない人々とで温度感が異なるのかもしれない。master/slaveとは異なる例として、ソフトウェアの世界には開発者自身が製品を試用することをドッグフード製造者がドッグフードを食べることに例えてdogfoodingということがある。しかし、この語もbitchを連想するので忌避する人々がいる。私はdogfoodingという言葉にドッグフードを食べることへの躊躇以上のネガティブな感情は持っていないけれど、これまでの人生で罵倒の文脈でbitchと言われて深く傷付いた人々の中には大きく違う印象を受ける人もいるかもしれない。

Third, we are away of an issue affecting Fedora Atomic Desktops.
If you have updated recently you may not be able to boot, getting a message about a bad shim signature or something similar. The Fedora Atomic Desktops SIG is aware of the issue and working on a solution. It seems to be related to the update to Linux kernel 6.9. (1/2)
In the meantime to avoid this issue you can do one of these mitigations:
* Don't update, stay on an older image, or rollback
* Disable Secure Boot for now
* Follow the instructions in this ticket at your own risk
