@glowl that's my thought about it too; less mass, less *overall* damage. definitely still able to hurt someone and oneself going that speed on a bike.

I also imagine braking may not be able to bring speeds down fast enough in split second moments, versus cars. however, I do know there's newer cycle braking systems, just not much about their performance.
