@swachter currently trying to decipher a maybe similar smell with a wool laundry ball, would you say wet sheep smells kinda like how a generic animal barn would smell?

Someone who is more familiar with #wool than me, please advise...
I have wool dryer balls in my dryer. One of them fell into the wash today unknowingly. I ran it through the dryer, while wet, same time as the washed clothes and it came out... looking like it does (on the right) and smelling similar to a barn? that sort of distinctive smell you'd get from a barn or barn animals... I want to say manure or poop but I know surely it can't be......

I am kind of worried that it's bacteria or something causing the smell and that all my clean clothes just dried have to be rewashed; when i wash my wool sweaters the smell is far different when they're wet.
The mild orange staining may have come from a very deep orange handkerchief I included in the dryer this time... colour leaching etc.

@thelettuceman @GossiTheDog yes they l've gone under a different domain, and the servers are still up, just not resolving to queer dot af. if one runs a public DNS server, an override to some other domains could be set.
