I don't understand why banks (really all financial institutions) only provide SMS-based 2FA option
Maybe except for cap1 (they have app-based 2FA) but still no TOTP

one of the HN comments mention how it was impossible to get samples from intel as a researcher working at big telco, and that reminded me of my professor constantly complaining how he couldn't get his hands on Optane unit (he was writing a paper about NVRAM data structures back then, unsure if it ended up getting published), so it seems like this was a common occurrence :/
