My idea might be completely wrong. Cause now I am just thinking from "my perspective" - about western influenced melody by western influenced musical knowledge of mine. A very narrow view it is.

However, it's still very interesting to hypothesise and try imagining things from various perspectives. It keeps my mind young or immature... and I like the way. 😆

It's kinda interesting. In the different cultures, the main melody line or rhythm is also different, even though the western ones take advantage in the world.

But the emotions in each melody line seem to be mostly common, or at least easy to understand beyond the words or cultural background. Of course I don't say 100%.

Is it because the western aka major melody is too common in the non-western world? I mean, is it some kind of acquired learning? Or just common "sense" in terms of emotion.
