Witnessed a #HateCrime two days ago while riding PATH from Newport, where a black man was lamenting about racial inequalities in incarceration but subsequently threatened to "smack" an Asian couple for allegedly "smiling." Fortunately he was confronted by another black man who denounced his racism, and the situation was deescalated. The conductor called the PA police who boarded the train at Grove Street (unclear if anyone was removed). #JerseyCity beware!!!
