@kqct Short answer, no, but you'll lose control of them. Long answer, for each post, any federating instance that has received it will continue to store it until it has been explicitly deleted by your account (and if the instance chooses to honour your request). Of course, the favourite and boost counts are as seen by the instance, not canonical. Similar for Matrix.

@courtney Wouldn't "followers only" visibility (which does exist in vanilla Maatodon) be a better choice, considering that most users are on general-purpose instances anyway?

@yagodm However, most stations have no elevators (they're being retrofitted very slowly), so getting bikes down to the metro can be difficult...

@Aman9das The backend caters specifically to the Instagram API, so changing all the data structures and endpoints would be quite a hassle, but it's not infeasible. If one has the means, that is.

@deko Well, it's not like I've worked on anything else that's significant, so that's fair. Not really in the mood of coding when life is harder...
