@sullybiker @tk I use a less expensive 500 mm lens with a teleconverter.
Looking at the detail of the photos I took, I have a feeling that the focus is not good enough. Oh well, I'll keep experimenting.

I went on a short trip. I need some time to put together some pictures.

Day 1
Driving north on the highway to the rape fields. The weather is not good.

I head east to a good vantage point. Lake Kussharo is also hazy.

I drove down the pass to the lakeside. It was already sunset.

Day 2
Took an early morning walk along the lakeshore. Almost no scenery.

Went south to Akkeshi. Saw cherry blossoms and ate oysters. Heading north the way I came. On the way, I saw two cranes in a meadow. They seemed to be in courtship.

I returned to the Lake Kussharo area and went to "Io-zan" (Mt. Io-zan). The terrible smell and the poisonous yellow color were impressive.

There were many deer as I headed south along the lakeside road. I stopped the car and tried to take their pictures, but they ran away.
