At the @w3c member meeting in #Hiroshima 🇯🇵, Leonard Rosenthol, Adobe, introduced the work of the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) that leverages W3C standards (#VerifiableCredentials , #WebAnnotations , etc.).
C2PA aims to develop technical specs for widespread content provenance and authenticity, allowing users to trace media origins.

🗳️ The @ab election is starting, with 6 candidates for 5 seats. The @w3c membership has until 29 May 2024 to choose their Advisory Board representatives.

The 6 candidates are: Wei Ding (Huawei), Tatsuya Igarashi (Sony), @frivoal (#W3CInvitedExpert ), Hiroshi Ota (LY), Max Gendler (The News Corp.) and Elena Lape (Holopin).

Last month, at the @w3c member meeting in #Hiroshima 🇯🇵, Matthew Atkinson (Samsung) presented a proposal of the WAI-Adapt Task Force on making navigation more #accessible . It suggests a standard way for a website to list its popular pages, aiding user agents in automatic discovery.
