In Japan, there is two ways to get 4th class of ham radio License. 1) take the exam. regulations, and engineering. Both 12 questions and needs 8 correct answers respectively. 2) take the seminar and exam. 6 hours of regulation and 4 hours of engineering. The exam has 10 regulation and 10 engineering questions. It is too hard to describe Japanese #hamradio YouTube scene because I have no interest for Japanese channel.
Recently someone picked up about DMR radio on his channel, but I haven't heard that the (Japanese) YouTuber got permission to use DMR radio and start to operate. Maybe paperwork at telecommunication bureau takes long time.
