この件に関してはホスティング業者がGMOだったことよりも、一般（サービス非利用者）向けに問い合わせができる手段を公表していなかったことにより、JASRACから直接ホスティング業者に通報されてしまったことが決定的な要因だった気がするな。
個人的には、「海外ブランドの日本法人が本社に承諾を得ずに公開していたWebサイトに対して、そのブランドの知的財産チームが直接連絡が取れないことを理由にAWSに通報が入り、AWSがサービスを止めようとしてきたことがある」という事例を聞いたことがあるので。
