Shan He et al.の"Nurses’ knowledge, attitude, and practice regarding the use of physical restraints in children in the intensive care setting in China: A cross-sectional multicentre study"で中国の事例。

"The use of physical restraints to reduce unplanned extubation is controversial."と書いてあるので何かなと思ったら、

"Some evidence suggests that physical restraints do not consistently reduce the rate of unplanned extubation, while other reports indicate physical restraints may increase the risk for unplanned extubation up to 3.11 times."と続いていて、ちょっと混乱する。

これってcontroversialになってる？

読了。オーストラリア、カナダ、ヨーロッパの法令について言及してあって勉強になった。
