宮内庁が12月12日、進学先に注目が集まっていた秋篠宮家の長男、悠仁さまが、筑波大学生命環境学群生物学類に合格したと発表した。学校推薦型選抜の入学試験を受けたと説明している。武蔵大学社会学部教授の千田有紀さんは「個人的には、良い選択をされたと感じた。もしあのまま東大への進学を選ばれていたら、秋篠宮家への批判が制御できないほどに大きくなっただろう」という――。
