この記事、「新しい資本主義実現会議」がホワイトカラー層を「ブルーカラー産業」(ブルーカラー産業ってなんだという感じだが)にホワイトカラーとして転職させるのか、それともホワイトカラーをブルーカラーにキャリアチェンジさせたいのかわからないが、ホワイトカラー層の労働需要が不足するおそれがあるとしているので後者を意図しているように思われ、エグい。
人手不足の産業に技能が足りない労働者を補充したら、給料水準は下がるのは自明で、貧富の差の拡大を是正する気はまったくないらしい。
デジタル化に伴い職務を失う事務職従事者（ホワイトカラー）が、非ホワイトカラーに移って活躍できるよう支援することを検討する。
労働需要が少なくなるおそれがあるホワイトカラーが製造業や土木などのブルーカラー産業に転職しやすくする。各業界団体がソフトウエア操作などで必要なスキルの標準を設定し、転職希望者が身に付けることができるよう政府として支援していく。人手不足の産業に労働移動を進めることで業界の生産性と賃金の引き上げにつなげる。
