Fedibirdには、検索されたくない投稿であることを明示する機能が搭載されています。
これは、検索してもOK、みんなに読んで欲しい！ という設定と表裏一体のものです。
投稿単位で、誰が投稿を検索してもよいか、範囲が明示されます。
この設定は、現在のところ、Fedibirdの独自機能です。
明示した検索範囲を守っているのはFedibirdだけです。
この状態でしばらく試験運用してきましたが、仕組みとしてはこれでいいかな、と思うに至りました。
今後は、他の検索機能をもつFediverseのサーバや検索サービスに、この表明を受け入れ協力してもらえるよう、働きかけていきたいと思っています。
このやり方が受け入れられれば、なにより投稿者が窮屈な思いをせずに済みますし、
検索したい人、されたい人にもより有益な環境を提供できます。
現在、無制限に検索対象とされている投稿も、先方で配慮されるようになります。
検索提供者に文句を言う必要もなく、また検索提供者も役立つサービスを提供しているという自信を持って堂々と運営できるようになると考えています。 [参照]
