Honestly I swear Spotify will play covers of popular songs, recorded by session or ghost musicians, in an attempt to pay less or no royalties to the original song writers/artists.

Heard it MANY times in hostels, hotels etc. Checking the playing song though, and it appears like it's the original song, but looking it up on Youtube or CD whatever, and the song is different.
