@kotaro if you're trying to hit 40gbps by LAN, you'll need adapters in both systems for that, acceptable high powered CPUs to manage that load, and quite possible fiber channel connectivity, instead of ethernet; otherwise, you'd need a short ethernet cable as distance determines it's functionality if i recall correctly.
