よくわかっていないながら、新しく作られた街に、新たに寺社は建立されないイメージあります。自治会として纏まるために信仰は使いづらいんでしょうか？
特殊な例としては、新しく作られた住宅地がダム用地補償の代用地であった厚木市宮の里や海老名市勝瀬は元地からの「遷座」という形ではありますが、新たに社殿は建立されていますね。
住民がまるごと移れば信仰も付いてくるということになりますが。
