元々、プラウディアとディグニティってヒュンダイからの要請で共同開発したという経緯があるので、もしするとグレンジャーとエクウスの方をメインで売るつもりだったのかも
というか、デボネアの頃から三菱の高級車って「三菱の重役専用車」だとか「大手町でしか見かけない車」だとか言われてたので、つまりそういうことかも

確か、ワタシの記憶では当時（90年代後半）に韓国で高級サルーンを作ってたメーカーってヒュンダイと大宇しかなくて、大宇はライセンス生産ばかりでヒュンダイは割と独自開発に意欲的でブランドを確立してたので結果としてグレンジャーとエクウスだらけになったとかいう話だった気がする
品質が日本車に比べるとお粗末だったのは割とそう
