@frankfil Likely because SMS has a 160 character limit. Longer messages are either 1. split into several messages which individually incur costs to the business, or 2. are MMSs which goes through cellular data and likely costs more.

@jonah It might be a recent phenomenon? I'm experiencing this on a few websites on my phone...

@mr_daemon I wouldn't say Conduit is a toy project. Dendrite is, but it's also practically abandoned.
