The Final World is the best KH world by far. Ever.

After having some time to think about it, here's my KH3 thoughts~ #KH3Spoilers The Disney worlds were much improved over previous games; no longer awkward and for the most part they weren't just story retellings (RIP Tangled and Frozen though. They sucked.)

The Disney worlds suffer from being simple story teases. The narrative is hardly shown with the Disney stuff, instead it waits for all of the worlds to be finished. This just made me want to rush through the Disney worlds instead of exploring them fully. #KH3Spoilers

Speaking of story, while the backloaded narrative approach wasn't amazing, I like how they capped stuff off. The Terra and Xigbar things were revealed, and even though we all knew it'd happen, it was nice to finally see it. #KH3Spoilers

The Final World had a bunch of interesting ministories in it, and the Strelitzia come back as well as the part where Namine tells Sora about her conversation with Terra back in First Breath were really nice connections. #KH3Spoilers

Speaking of Terra, the corruption of his iconic "One day, I will set this right." line was beautiful. Probably my favorite line in the game. I still love the ol' "Don't hold back Lea, promise" though. Shame Kairi never really became a character. She got thrown aside. #KH3Spoilers

Also I liked Skuld's futurepast and the reveal that she was the influence behind Saix's obvious betrayal build up. It's a shame that Saix never got his chance to turn. During the Xemnas v Axel scene I was hoping he would turn, but we got Roxas, so I can't complain. #KH3Spoilers

Also Roxas is taking no nonsense in this game. I love how some of the characters are like that. Woody and Sully did not care for the Org people and their nonsense. Org nonsense is a good way to jump to Master Xehanort... #KH3Spoilers

The antagonist who has never been right about any of his assumptions of the X-blade or the Keyblade War. Back in BBS he was portrayed as a just cause with unjust actions, and that kiiinda carried through into KH3. He was still as incompetent and misguided as ever.

Lauriam and Elrena knew nothing, but with their return to somebodies we'll get those memories. Will they return to Daybreak or will they end up post-travel? Common convention says they return to the time they came from, but maybe it's different for worldline hopping? #KH3Spoilers

Also... Demyx and Luxord are also old Keyblade Wielders? When are they gonna show up big in the story? I kinda like Luxord, and I hope he and Sora get to meet again. They'd be good friends. Same with Demyx and Roxas I guess, #KH3Spoilers

When it comes to gameplay, I much appreciated the customisation element. I made my Keyblade into a heavy hitter, which meant there wasn't much use in any of the attractions or team attacks. I rarely activated them, and ultimately it felt like KH2 for the most part. #KH3Spoilers

Somehow my favorite battles (Sora v Aqua and Aqua v Vanitas) pushed me back into the BBS playstyle of blockparry into dodgerolling... But it felt good. A lot better than in BBS. I also kinda enjoyed how staggering and revenge changed across different types of enemies #KH3Spoilers

The unversed and BBS people didn't seem to care for that stuff at all, which gave them a unique identity over the Heartless. And then Nobodies have their standard "you can't hit me" bubble. Good way to make each enemy type unique. #KH3Spoilers

Given the Final Mix treatment, this could very easily be the best Kingdom Hearts. The current game is a straight improvement over KH2, which was previously the best (until it was FM'd) so I'm hoping for that to happen. I'll hope for some Foreteller bosses to fight. #KH3Spoilers

Oh also can I talk about how much better the Pooh world was this time? Like someone actually knew Pooh stories? The "together forever" reference, and Lumpy being involved, and Piglet actually having a tinge of sarcasm in his dialogue. So much better. #KH3Spoilers

@NipahDUBS @Barry87836497 Unfortunately it skips a chunk of the KH1 final act, the Riku portion of CoM, and all of Coded. It's still a good enough summary to get people into 3 without being confused by anything too much ('cept for Repliku and UX) and it has an incredibly short time investment requirement.

@Taosym How on earth did those become the two main entry points? I thought F/SN was the go-to starter, with F/Z being the alternative.

The only thing that strikes me as promising is Kemurikusa, but that's solely for Tatsuki.

Of course that wouldn't appeal to people who haven't experienced the entire product. It takes the unfinished elements of greater stories, gives them an end then sets up for the future

@DaddyLev @Blitzlander27 @TSM_Leffen The only parts of the game that will have any kind of appeal to someone who plays solely KH3 are the Disney worlds, and they're easily the worst part of every KH game.

@DaddyLev @Blitzlander27 @TSM_Leffen It put an end to the lingering threads of: BBS, 0.2, CoM, Days, KH2, Coded, and DDD, while furthering the X story and paving a way for Sora's next adventure. It effectively cut off all the previous baggage so that they could begin another story in future games.

@DaddyLev @Blitzlander27 @TSM_Leffen Trashy retellings of Disney stories—with horribly timed dialogue and immensely abridged character arcs—are not much of an appeal. When you finally get through the Disney filled grind of mini-game spam and gimmick bosses, the good parts of the KH games come through.

I finally found some nice CSP brushes. Might finally push me out of SAI. They work well with angles, with pressure and they smooth really well.

This boss took soooo long! Golden Highwind is a worthy reward though.

This new Fire Emblem looks kinda cool actually. Finally a fresh setting and protagonist role for the franchise.

@Taosym I'd argue that's one of the better elements of MHA. It's not exactly as good at doing it as Tiger & Bunny or Samurai Flamenco, but it does still preach the message of the fundamental inequality of an idealised superhero reality.

@Taosym And even with Deku, he was still bestowed an outlier of a power that not every hardworking normal person can obtain. The boy got lucky.
