Dusky thrush, Bohemian Waxwing, Japanese Waxwing

Not so cold morning.

I hiked Mt. Monbetsu. The weather was bad, and I only saw the lake for a moment on the way back.

The ice pillar had collapsed a bit because of the high temperatures today.

Deer i met a little further south.

And the birds i see so often.

I took the wrong route. I was hiking on the footprints, but somehow I was getting closer to Mt. Tokushunbetsu. My destination was at the bottom of the cliff, but I did not know the route.
It was just before returning to the starting point that I realized I had missed a branch just after the start.
