暖房用にBOINCを動かしていて、自分より上位に居る人がPrimeGridで稼ぎの良い功績量を出しているから、自分も参加してみたんだけど、計算エラーが出まくりで全然実績にカウントされない。時間の掛かるユニットには誰もやりたがらないからボーナスの功績を付けるね、ということらしいが、重たいユニットをGPUで10日間も回して計算異常だから実績無しとか、そりゃ誰もやりたがらないわと思ってしまった。

@aqz 普通のPC用のSSDをUSB-SATA変換でつなげばいい。QLCさえ避ければ安物でもどうにかなる。さらにmicroSDの寿命はなんだかんだでSSDより弱い。
* 容量が小さい
* trimコマンドがない
* SSDでは考えられない粗悪品がある

@aqz /var/logをRAMディスクに移すなどの一般的な書き込み削減策をやっても、ドライブレコーダー用の16GBが1年くらいで死んだので、microSDだけで運用するのは本当にむずそう。
